Right-handed pitcher who was the MVP of the 1957 World Series. Pitching for the Milwaukee Braves, he won three complete games against the Yankees in Game 2 (4-2), Game 5 (1-0), and Game 7 (5-0). He had a career record of 203-144 in 18 seasons.
