Michael Deaver

Deaver was responsible for choreographing Ronald Reagan’s public image. He was called the “vicar of visuals” for setting the president in memorable photographic backdrops—Reagan on the Great Wall of China and on a cliff overlooking the English Channel. Deaver also created a successful lobbying firm with clients such as Philip Morris, South Korea, and TWA.
