Henry Francis du Pont businessman, museum founderBorn: 1880 Birthplace: Winterthur, Del. Armed with his Harvard B.A. he became a director of the family's chemical business, E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., from 1915–69. He is remembered for founding the Henry Francis du Pont Winterthur Museum in 1951, that houses early American decorative art works, furniture, and horticultural gardens.
