Benjamin Zemach dancer, choreographerBorn: 1902 Birthplace: Moscow, Russia Considered a pioneer in dance, Zemach came to America in 1926 from Moscow and worked closely on experimental productions with Martha Graham and Michio Ito. Zemach specialized in Jewish themes and often incorporated political messages into his dances.
