Lloyd Bridges (Lloyd Vernet Bridges, Jr.)actor Born: 1/15/1913 Birthplace: San Leandro, California Mostly a supporting actor, he appeared mainly in westerns and action movies as well as a couple of spoof-type movies, including Airplane! (1980) and Hot Shots (1991). He was also the star of a popular action series on TV, Sea Hunt (1957–61). He is the father of actors Beau and Jeff Bridges.
