Wilford Brimley

After working as a blacksmith, ranch hand, and racehorse trainer, Brimley began his movie career working as a stuntman and extra. He soon became known as one of Hollywood's most dependable character actors. Among his many film credits are True Grit (1969), The China Syndrome (1979), Absence of Malice (1981), The Natural (1984), Cocoon (1984), The Firm (1993), and In & Out (1997).
